4x4 Safari Adventure

Grab your togs, jandals and no-worries attitude and let the adventure begin. We drive in our ex-army Unimog safari truck (aka Moggy) past some of the island’s most beautiful beaches.

You’re perched up high so you’ll get an awesome view of interesting points along the way until we arrive at our smoko stop (that’s morning tea to you guys) in the wopwops at the less-travelled end of Waiheke.

After a fresh brew of Kiwi-style billy coffee, tea (and some fresh baking to get your laughing gear around) there is an option to go on a 30-minute guided tramp through the bush or have another cuppa and just kick back. The walk is an easy stroll that will give you a glimpse of island history as well as local fauna and flora.

Next we venture out to our lunch destination at the beach. While the guide is preparing lunch on the barbie, you can swim, amble on the water’s edge, kayak or take the time to savour a boutique Waiheke wine or craft beer. When lunch is served, sit and enjoy the delicious fresh food and majestical view.

Afterwards, we head out through less travelled parts of the island. Once the tour is finished, you’re all good. You’ll leave with heaps of photos to impress your Instagram followers. Ka pai!
