Internationally acclaimed guitarist Vladimir Gorbach has captivated audiences across Europe, Japan, Australia, the United States and his native country of Russia. He has recorded for Naxos and published his own arrangements of music for lute. Currently, he is based at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, The University of Sydney and crosses the Tasman to join the New Zealand Guitar Quartet (NZGQ).

At Whittaker's, he will play a range of works written or arranged for solo guitar. Composers include Bach, Scarlatti and Piazzolla. Join us for this exciting event, which will be the fourth and second-to-last concert of our Spring Season.

Over 100 antique instruments carefully restored including concertinas, bandonions, harpsichord, dulcitone, pianolas, theatre organ and Paderewski’s 1897 9ft Bechstein concert grand piano.
