Waiheke's Wharf to Wharf Fun Run

This annual half-marathon offers participants the option of a 12 km or 5 km walk or run. The event begins at Orapui Wharf at the eastern end of Waiheke Island and finishes at Matiatia at the western end of Waiheke. This event has become the traditional training event for the now famous Rotorua Marathon attracting some of the countries top athletes. Normally held late January, the marathon features many colourful drink stalls along the way.
