Waiheke Teddy Bears Picnic Day

The Waiheke Teddy Bears' Picnic has been organised to celebrate National Children's Day, with loads of free entertainment for the little ones.

Now in its fourth year, the annual picnic is back by popular demand from both children and their teddy bears. The festivities run from 11am to 2pm at Little Oneroa Beach and offer plenty of opportunities for parents and kids to spend time together having fun. Enjoy roaming clowns, Fairy Sheryl, a lolly scramble, a 'junk to treasure' lucky dip and a gymnastics display.

Meanwhile, adults can chill out to live music from some of Waiheke Island's most talented entertainers, including Pat Urlich, Barry Caitcheon, LeLani, Chocolate Fish, The Plastic Paddies, Sarah Brown and Steve Robinson. So load up the picnic basket with goodies and grab a cosy rug and join in the fun at the Teddy Bears Picnic. (raindate Sun 7 Nov)
